ABSTRACT:This research paper deals with one of the most prominent poems by a modern American poet Theodore Huebner Roethke (1908-1963) and title poem is “The Far Field” (1964). The current examines underlining mystical significance images used in Roethke’s Field.” In this poem, figuratively expresses his spiritual journey to realize God within himself through deep contemplation nature. Very much similar mystic experience realizing divine while living solitude. discussion explores particular Jungian archetypes scrutinizing their referentiality both on aesthetic figurative level dimension. For example, dexterously employs image far field refer death but interestingly which dead animals are strewn about also symbol rebirth where new life destined emerge like garden that decays September only flourish back spring. Thereby, throughout such drawn from nature, portrays different stages growth he passes through. These are; fear mortality, transcending cycle birth reincarnation, finally detachment physical realism into union divine.
